Girl Meets Semi-Formal

With the kids, all talk is about the semi-formal dance coming up. And Riley has another dilemma on her hands... go with a classmate who did ask (Charlie), or go with Lucas, who did not because he assumed they'd go together. What will she do?! (If I were her, I know what I'd do. Just sayin'.)

  Meanwhile, with the adults, new Senator Eric has an old friend drop by... Jack Hunter!

So, what's new with Jack? Is Eric really, as his secret service agent says, "the smartest senator (he's) worked with"?
 ~~~~~
I guess it was an interesting turn to see how Jack turned out. And how Riley's life is turning out with each passing hour, day, whatever! It just goes to show how everything in our lives molds us into who we are.
Girl Meets Creativity
Anyway, I knew when I saw the commercials that this episode would hit close to home for me. And I was right. So, what's the big deal then? Well, it covers something happening all over our nation, that affects us all... most importantly, the kids we know and love.
The loss of, or risk of losing, the arts in our schools.
So, the gang's school is losing their art, music, drama, and dance classes effective after the next school board meeting. And the kids figure they need to do something to change that! Therefore, they went to that meeting with a plan in mind... thinking logically wasn't helping, so why not think creatively?
Did their plan work? Why did Cory seem to have it in for Mr. Turner? Has this happened where you live?
Thanks once again to the lovely people of the internet for the pictures. And to the show for inspiring me and reminding me of what's important. (For more on how it impacts my heart, see my blog.)
Have you seen these episodes? If so, what did you think? Let me know by either using my prompts, or just speaking from your heart! I'd love to hear from you. :)
