Sky is a 21-year-old writer and graphic designer from Colorado. In addition to creative pursuits, Sky enjoys consuming stories in any form, especially TV shows. Her favorite stories usually involve superheroes and light triumphing over darkness. Both of these themes have encouraged her in the midst of her struggles with fibromyalgia and anxiety. If you need her, she can most likely be found coming up with her next plot twist, searching for a way to make fictional characters real, or attempting to attain Tony Stark-like wit.

Favorite superhero: Tony Stark

Jaime Heller is a 23-year-old writer and library worker from Ohio. When she’s not drooling over the books in the library, she writes herself into other worlds, laughs at her own jokes, and pretends to be various dinosaurs. She awaits the day when dragons are reborn on the earth and she can fulfill her destiny as Supreme Queen of Dragons. Until then, she'll settle for reading about costumed heroes and helping people find the right books.

Favorite superhero: Captain America, but Matthew Michael Murdock is my soul
Favorite literary character aspect: Gandalf’s beard

Amanda is an 18-year-old INFP and actor from Minnesota. She reads too much, dreams too much and has too many adventures, oftentimes fictional.  Laughing makes her happy and so do pizza, potatoes and people. (So does Hamilton and Marvel and Parks and Recreation.) Fictional stories remind her that love and compassion are possible, and that’s always something she wants to keep around.

Favorite superhero: Bruce Banner, of course
Favorite book: Jane Eyre or The Great Gatsby. I can’t decide.

Kristen is a 20-something cynically optimistic INTJ with an affinity for 80s music, thrift stores, and wizards. She writes puns for a living and books as a hobby, and if you're into virtually-unheard-of lit magazines or your other car is a DeLorean, you may have heard of her. She can usually be found with a cup of coffee or tea in her hand and a scowl on her face. She swears the scowl is unintentional.

When she finds the time, she blogs about books and poetry at Book Geeks Anonymous.

Anna is a 23-year-old hobbit and hair dye fanatic that you'd like on your team in case of the zombie apocalypse. When not reading four books at once, you'll find her exploring a local museum or squinting over her latest DIY project. Aside from that she loves all things coffee, tea, fantasy, and conspiracy theory. She loves working with children, and her ideal career would involve directing the children's program at a museum or library. This is partially due to the fact that Anna is an only child (aside from her family dog, Gus). Therefore, she spent her early years adventuring with those who live in the pages of books and the annals of history. She is currently working on her first novel and trying to convince her parents to let her use their basement as an art studio.

Gets compared most to: Lily Aldrin (How I Met Your Mother) and Pippin Took (Lord of the Rings)
Dream vehicle: Dean Winchester's '67 Impala (with better gas mileage) or a Delorean (which may actually be possible)

Bethany is a 21-year-old writer, actress, and student from Virginia. She is trapped in a love triangle with theater and writing but somehow doesn’t mind. When she isn’t stuck doing mounds of homework, she pours herself into fiction of all forms, books, films, or television. She is a devout Christian. Having a natural love for all stories, she dreams of reaching the levels of such amazing storytellers as J.R.R. Tolkien and Jane Austin, but for now she tries to write books that aren’t full of passive speech, pretends to be other people on stage, and occasionally practices her evil laugh.

Favorite fantasy film series: The Lord of the Rings
Favorite musical(s): Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Newsies…(etc.)

She unearthed her ability to create prop replicas and fan art. Drawing became an outlet for her imagination, leading to her to life as an artist at an all-female tattoo studio. Her favorite virtual realities include: Supernatural, The X-Files, The Walking Dead, BTVS, and just about anything including cryptids, ghosts, and twisted humans.

Once upon a time, Gabrielle’s parents decided to read her Greek myths when she was four. A couple years later, she became the 6-year-old warrior queen of a magical basement land populated mostly by plushies. The rest is, as they say, in the books. Now a 30-year-old Library Science graduate in Ohio, she drifts between the worlds, sometimes writing, sometimes singing, sometimes just plain squeeing. Her ultimate goals are to publish fantasy novels and albums of nerdy music. You’ll often find her reading YA, watching superhero movies, geeking out over illuminated manuscripts, and taking too many plant photos.

Hayla R. is first and foremost a scientist having dedicated the majority of her life to studying wildlife biology and anthropology. She has been burdened with the glorious purpose of protecting the Earth’s creatures, and her personality has been likened to a strangely complementary dichotomy of ardent care for animals and violent anti-heroism, as though Dr. Dolittle himself had been recruited into the Suicide Squad.

Jamie is a 23-year-old writer and filmmaker from Ohio. Ever since she was a little girl, she wanted to make movies. She's particularly proud of her most recent film The Unpublished Sherlock Holmes. That passion for film has evolved to include film and TV criticism as well. She's also an improv comedian who would take a bullet for her cat, River (named after the Doctor Who character or the Firefly character, your choice). The number one thing on her bucket list right now is to try on some tap shoes and make a ruckus.

When she isn’t secretly fighting evil by moonlight, she reads YA, writes fantasy, and ventures into unknown other worlds.

Kristen is a writer and photographer from New England who grew up telling stories. She started on paper before shifting to film for a while. The dream of sharing her work with people other than her best friends or teachers lives on. When she’s not crafting new worlds or devising something new and terrible for her characters to encounter, she can usually be found taking care of her small plant collection, doing archery, or rolling dice. There’s a chance she might actually be one of the fae.

Livia is a 15-year-old writer who lives in Rome, Italy. She is addicted to anything that allows her to explore other worlds: books, videogames, TV series and movies are the most inexpensive and efficient means of travel to her. Her passion for stories has encouraged her to write some of her own. Livia's favourite genres are YA, dystopia and fantasy, though she isn't picky. If it is a book, she will definitely try to read it. Most of the time, she's fighting off evil or resisting a disastrous dystopian government. Disturbing her in those situations is not advised.

Born in the Northwest, she currently resides in Georgia and spends most of her time falling in love with minor characters, writing novels, watching Asian dramas, and drinking black coffee. Her favorite stories are the dark ones, the funny ones, the ones with bittersweet endings full of depth and hope. John Howe is her artistic mentor, Guillermo Del Toro is her creative inspiration, and the night sky is her aesthetic. When he isn’t working on the somewhat important somethings, he’s probably out wandering around somewhere at night, drinking hot beverages, or reading something he’s not sure he should be reading. He spends most of his daylight hours being questioned by people who don’t understand the monuments to nothing he builds in the dark, and his favorite things include dangerous poetry, a pistachio shell that reminds him of happy times, and music.

Travis lives in Ohio with his two roommates and a dog named Abby. At age 27, he has more books and Steam games than he knows what to do with. However, he and a friend run a Let’s Play channel on YouTube (Attredidon Gaming) so all those games don’t go to waste. He is a huge fan of Lord of the Rings as well as the Halo series for Xbox. He likes to write fantasy, sci-fi, and some good old depressing, philosophical tales. While he’s not doing that, he’s either slinging pizzas or working on his thesis.

When she isn’t scribbling on paper or filing it, she can be found lost in novels, cramming for English exams, fangirling over British shows, and eating all the dark chocolate in sight. She is a proud Hufflepuff and probably part Hobbit. Although she would never survive being part of the Avengers, that doesn’t stop her from dreaming.
