5 Ways to Have a Holly Jolly Fandom Christmas

As fangirls, our lives tend to revolve around fandom, and Christmas is no different. Here are five mostly-foolproof ways to have a holly jolly fandom Christmas.

1. Watch Christmas-themed things

So many shows have Christmas-themed episodes. Psych, Supernatural, Little House on the Prairie... find your favorite TV show, then find its Christmas episode. Let the viewing commence. (You can also watch Christmas specials--Jameson C. Smith recommends her favorites here!)

2. Binge non-Christmas themed things

A lot of us have off from school and work, so what better way to spend Christmas break than catching up on all those shows you've been meaning to watch?

3. Ask for fandom-themed Christmas gifts

I don't know about you, but my Christmas list this year was almost entirely related to fandom. Funko Pops? Check. Realistic Daredevil cosplay hoodie? Check. (I found superherostuff.com, which was dangerous.)

Another dangerous place? Etsy. Type your favorite fandom in, then spend the rest of your life wishing you had enough money to buy all the things.

4. Photoshop Santa hats onto your favorite characters

You can use the Santa hat overlays on PicMonkey. It's fun. Promise.

5. Make Christmas fanfic

Ever wonder what Christmas would be like in Panem or Stark Tower? Write it. If writing isn't your thing, you can also draw or headcanon with friends. Trust me, it will make you feel all the things.

All in all, Christmas is a joyous time. Add your fandoms in, and it will be even more joyous. Whatever ways you choose to celebrate, I hope you all have a holly jolly fandom Christmas.

What are your suggestions on how to have a Holly Jolly Fandom Christmas?
